Yes, I spent a bit of time quickly browsing through forum and I see the pattern of people coming into DNN and the common problems that exist.. The focus from the core team now is really documentation, better module management and much more direction now that DNN 3 is all but a signature from being a proper release.  I can't say if it's going to be an official RC, as it's not my place, but I get the feeling that we're now moving forward on many areas, and the focus is turning to the documentation, site structure, direction and purpose.

I think I've found an area that suits me well, skinning, user experience, pushing the boundaries, exploring different technologies and working with developers to make sure modules are nicely developed and giving feedback where I can if I'm asked.  Generally, just too busy to put my opinion forward unless asked.. and yes, unfortunately, asked several times as I get bogged down in things.

We're now sorting out some network problems, the servers have been running pretty well since finding out the errors from developers and xml files.

The days just rush past and I'm sort of a bit horrified to think back and confess that I've worked nearly 7 days a week, since February last year when I really encompassed DotNetNuke skinning.  And I'm tired.. happy with what I'm learning, but getting a bit worn out.

So, along with my forum duties, getting documentation done, doing some email campaigns (did a lovely one today for Made In Japan - group of 4 - 5 shops) as part of their marketing strategies, doing some work on 2 auto sites, testing out a couple of modules, and then sorting out a couple of skins for my new site as part of the release. I've got some nice things that I was going to save for the release, but I think skinning is mature and stable enough in 3, to release them.

So that's about it.. lots of newcomers to DNN, great to see them, noticing that the questions are more application/setup related, rather than skinning, but that will change and hopefully I'll be better equipped on my site to advise things..

If you've got anything you'd like to see here, then please drop a line, I'm in the process of making the site more intuitive and information packed, and always willing to listen.

Cheers and night for now.
