I've been working on some core team things, discovering things about CSS that help me understand DNN better and am mentally tired with so much to take in, so going to be early to hopefully not dream about dnn, but sleep with the idea it will all be solved in the morning.
Kirsty spent time on the catalook store - going over some of the features but had problems working it all out, so we're tackling together tomorrow after I've packaged all my work and sent to Scott, or uploaded to vault.
How can things take so long, it's the interruptions I've had during the day and trying to work out why server didnt' recycle the aspnet_wp.exe client. Wonder if this is something to do with the beta's I'm working with.
Spent a bit of time talking with Armand and his cool modules, I see them nearing completion and it's a huge amout of working doing css based menus.
I then spoke for a little while to John Mitchell from Snapsis and he's installed the Snapsis enginge on 3.10 so it's all moving ahead, little by little, day by day.
I didn't get much chance to look on forum but have had alot of email and am going to add more to the questions and answers on the site, again, juggling things around but happy that I have finished ... well almost finished the work I set out to do which was supposed to be done by yesterday, but won't be delivered until tomorrow.
Would be good if I could live on no sleep, but that ain't reality!
So, a bit more rest, more planning and then wow, when the release is out, due in next couple of weeks(fingers crossed) we're going to see plenty of new modules hit the market, I'm sure of that and a renewed vigour as I speak with some of the dev people who have working hard at sorting out bugs where possible, but the feedback has changed slightly - the consensus is that although taken longer, developers have had a great insight to the module development and refining their own products.
The documentation is much better too, so we're going to end up with more information than we ever had in the beginning.
Looks like a good time to be had by all in the DotNetNuke environment - coming up in the latter half of 2005.. considering February is all but over, it's not that far off the mark.
Catch you round - logging off early - module article tomorrow and small email newsletter, not too fancy but some key points I think people would like to know about.
Cheers from Nina
