I said to Kirsty - OK - print out the instructions, let's work in this together, but I'll give you a head start to see how you understand changing files and I see there is a real need to have information simplified in many aspects of DotNetNuke to make the user experience easier, so that those new to this application are not daunted by the learning curve.

The Snapsis tool is quite interesting in as much as it gives the capabilities to provide quick changes to your site without the need to edit the css file and quick mods would be in the control of the administrator, but not necessarily giving them permission to upload skins.  I think that most people involved in researching DotNetNuke are developers or self managed sites though and they may use ftp or upload skins themselves, but still it's a good product for finding things like menu behaviour too. Snapsis is also a great start if you're looking at the tabbed style menus and more involvement with CSS and how well a site can be managed, then this is also a great product.  We will have a full range of skins available and a *snapsis conversion* feature for those who want a range of skins converted but dont' have the time or inclination.

So it's not been a really happy day for her, and that being the case, I'm going to work where possible to make information that we have available, have more graphical intuitive instructions to make those who are technically challenged have a few more inspiring moments.  I know exactly where many people are coming from when it comes to not being able to understand things without often having a second opinion to decipher something because it just doesn't make sense.   .. I think I'm also guilty at times because here, I tend to write what I am thinking, which at times can be fragmented.

Today I am downloading and attempting one of the builds, the latest one in fact to see how the skin uploading has changed and what improvements have been made to make the portability and rendering of skins easier to manage, update and work with. If there is anything of great importance, I'll post on my blogs here to keep you updated.
