Well on Friday my computer decided it could no longer agree with the hours I was putting in. Sure I'd replaced the power supply - when the fan died, and yes - dusted it out carefully but had to upgrade the computer - take into account that my grandkids computer also went 'poof' in a little puff of smoke and I knew what I was doing.. I was forced to do the 'upgrade and pass down the line'.
What do you think normally happens ... the password hunt, the software receipts and links to the keys and registration hunt...
And so I thought I'd be smarter this time and I did a search for a 'password manager'. It runs on the .net framework - (I found that out since I installed XP again, and had to upgrade the framework to turn it on) and honestly it's the handiest little tool you'll come across if you're like me with so many passwords that it's confusing as hell.
I found this little gem - only a few dollars to buy and has great licensing options. I just thought that I needed something to help me manage the passwords I have - it's coming up to more than I have fingers and toes... twice.. and wow, I can't wait to use it.
I thought I'd share this with you since I'm nearly finished setting up my new PC and running on 8 cyclinders again. I wanted to do an upgrade over Christmas but it didn't work out that way so I was semi planned but Friday the need to view this urgently - and I guess I've not done an upgrade for 20 years now - or a new install, so I guess it's about time.
Here's the Access Manager interface.. and click the image to go and visit the site.
