I thought I'd place a link here to a skin I did some time ago - it's got more reference I suppose based on the fact that it's an alternative menu for those wanting to try out the NAV menu with some alternative styles added to it.

Grey Skin

I think the menu looks slightly nicer than the current new DNN 4.5 skin because it uses mouseovers and actually has height set in the menu. Small changes make a big difference!
