I have been regorganising my sites due to some marketing that will be going on in the month of June, July and August, and as usual, running a business where you have chosen DNN to be your flavour of the moment, is often time consuming and does require a hands on approach in many instances.

So, I took a moment to reflect on a few things and have updated my blogs so that I can choose whether to move to the graffiti blogs I've seen come ahead in leaps and bounds, or simply stick with my current version of dasBlog which I've also been quite familiar with and a fan of.

It's hard to know which one is better to use, when at the end of the day, I don't write code, and changing, managing and enhancing any application I use has to be able to be updated by someone who really doesn't want to code.. .. ever.. and I mean ever.  It's not as if there isn't enough lousy coders in the world, and I'd be one of them...

I have had a look at the option of conveting these blogs to graffiti, and while I love how it works, I'm a bit overwhelmed at the whole process and think to myself that is there the need to change if you can't quickly and confidently do so.

So to cheer myself up, I thought I'd play around with the graphics. I found another issue which I'll look at in my spare time - and that's the fact I've gone back to fixed width - i wanted to play around with the design a little and the only way I really could do much was to have fixed width, which then posed another small problem - and that is the image sizes I use in my blogs.. oh well, if it's not one thing, it's another, so I'll have to resize a few images to keep it looking good, but that's life.

I guess I was really inspired to look at a few more graphical elements after spending a day at reMIX 08 in Melbourne. I had a really good day.  It was one of the best events I've been to, honestly it was and I thought I must move ahead and go fix up my blogs, get talking again, since I hardly ever go out these days, it seems the work comes to me, or the clients, or the phone calls.. last week, 27 phone calls in one day.. that was a new record I think...

So back to these blogs, looks like there are some fixes and enhancements, I'm going to evaluate them and do some more comparisons, and maybe I'll change to graffiti, but I'm sensing that it might require more work than I feel I'm cut out to do... with so many other things on my plate at the moment.

And no, I've not really checked in every browser, but working on that too.
