Yes, network setup went pretty well, apart from one small issue with DHCP server, but that has been rectified... and it was at the cost of Andrew making a Cat Stand - you know, one of those things wrapped in carpet... And how did this come about?? Well, my son in law to be works as a Systems Operations Manager for a large company, he knows networks, spends millions of dollars each year for his company.. (lucky him) and he finished off the integration and our intranet works well thanks very much!

That being the case, I spent most of today working on getting the site finished, and unfortuntely do have to sleep some times, so had to stop here, and will pick it up in the morning.

I installed the ITSC user manager, and it lets me export members, but do you think I can import into here?? No way - get those favourite little words - Exceptional Error and then nothing in the log files.. don't that just annoy the hell out of you.

Well, then I thought I would get the modules imported.. .. NOTE TO SELF. Dont' to that.. something happened along the way and ended up importing extra tabs from the old site.. and then it was on... I thought then, when I restored the backup, I had in fact overwritten the master file and then I started getting worried as I was so sure I had *restored* not backed up again..

In the end, had to drop the db, and create a new one, attaching the one I had originally backed up, and it all came together again.  Tonight I worked with Anthony Glenwright from Inventua, to get the friendly URLS working and I have my own custom names at the end.. which I thought was so cool, but more than that, it should be google friendly.  Thanks Anthony - smart guys at Inventua.

But all Anthony's I know are smart because I was working with Anthony B today - he's the C# dude.. with a mind of numbers, algorithms and depth that amazes me.. and the fact we can communicate must amaze him sometimes.. He's doing my help files, and it is allowing me to provide interactivity from the help file and communicate directly with the server, so I'm thrilled with how that's coming but it's a big push to get all done, so as promised, although not all finished, and although you can't log in until tomorrow, or when I get the members area finalised, you can have a look around.

There is heaps more information for registered users, but don't want to provide access and get duplicate members and it's only a day.

I have converted all the DotNetNuke 3 skins to 2.1.2 and they will be available for download, and when 3 is released, have some mix and match skins using the standard files which I think gives a bit of variety.

I have some containers which will be available for download and after the site is up and running, will be taking a few days to finish other work, and then get skinning store running, I think it will be on 2.1.2, not 3 as I really do love my modules and just can't bear to part with them.

Really excited about having my first section of Module Reviews online where you will also be able to post comments (I think I can get it working properly) and then will be having a Developer Interview, which I think will give an insight to many of the talented people around the place.

I'm also working on some options to extend the modules, using either free or paid modules so people can see how much they can do with DotNetNuke which might not have been considered.

So, there you have it, a somewhat flat Valentines Day release, but nevertheless, something to get your head around.

Cheers and night for now.
