You know it's coming up to December 01, 2004 and I was looking back at some blogs I started on another site last year, and saw pictures of my Christmas Tree.. well, it's back out of the box and I guess I'll have to drag myself away from the computer to decorate it. It will be our first Christmas in our new home we moved into late October, but I haven't finished unpacking everything. Can't wait to get the office finished. It's very cool and Andrew put some castors on all the chairs so it's smoooooth sailing around the room.
I'm getting anxious now to see dnn 3 released, and so is everyone else, and I guess it's a decision not taken lightly to hold back releases, but the reality is, it needs to be stable or it's not fair to the end user.
I've been putting the skins together and did a couple of new ones today- have some very cool work in the pipeline, along with 2 of my own personal sites now almost completed. I won't be using dnn3 for a while - I like where I am in the space at the moment, but have some clients who I might try it with.
I would believe that once released, even if you just ran with the standard modules you'd be thrilled with how good and clean the interface is to work with.
What I have been doing is going through the different versions and trying to identify where the changes in skinning have occured - particularly with skin management.
Most of the skins work so I would see that updating from 2 to 3 is going to be pretty straightforward. DotNetNuke really impresses me!
