It all makes sense, so when I feel like this I pick up my little list of *things I want to do* because I like it, it's less pressure and not too hard ...  OK I moved it aside for a while trying to work out why on earth my DesignAway skin wouldn't work with the DNN3 FTB editor.

Normally I'm pretty fussy about releasing skins, because I know how annoying it is when they don't perform correctly.  Anyway, this time I wanted to speed things up a bit and get my favourite skin online, and it started from there, wow, I haven't changed how I do the css classes for some time, but thought - new release, lets get the classes tidied up a bit, but it seems to have fallen flat - because I was under the impression I could use the padding: 2px 2px 2px 2px; (having never used it before mind you) to work out ways of keeping css classes more compact. And I forgot to remove a couple of extra classes and left in a ; zipped the skin up and then uploaded it ready to go.

It installed fine, and I tested on my live installation, but that's 3.09 and has a third party editor in it. (I don't and won't use FTB anymore where possible - it's too restrictive for my purposes, although most of my clients use it and it's fine.)  So all is cool, edits no problem, and then I get a couple of email from people not able to edit with it.

First I thought it was the way it was installed - eg..  uploaded without installing it, and use ftp because it's quicker.. so another mistake made - I didn't test via the uploader. Note to self - Always test you can install the skin.

Man I feel like crapola today - yes, that feeling you get in your joints and muscles when you get a cold and are really tired.. DANG.. better get some Vitamin C and 3 x early nights in a row..
