I tried, and tried and tried to update my site and found it wasn't succesful, so will be launching my skin site and my new look xd site using 2.1.2 next week.

Ok, waiting waiting waiting, downloaded the build from the vault, doing the upgrade at the moment - locally - will probably have to roll back a few times and remove the containers...

Well, it seems that a few of the glitches they've had in the upgrading path are getting resolved as I now have a download and am testing on a couple of local machines....

Didn't attend the core team chat.. I was actually sleeping in and reading a Dean Koontz book - The Talking.. so I clean forgot about it, but did catch up on the news.

As the time moves on, the upgrade path for DotNetNuke 3 is being set out and it's all looking great!

Today I went to a Christmas party after being invited by the directors to meet some of the shareholders of the company... the new DNN couldn't be more perfect!

Testing the final release candidate and it's all looking pretty dang good if you ask me.

This is good news for anyone looking forward to a release. I can't give a date, as usual, but the code has been locked now so the developers have finished making mods....

It's weird when you have something to tell people, but you just hold off and hold off waiting for little bits of news to come in...
